SecretaryResponsible for attending Executive and Board Meetings, taking of notes of the meetings, maintenance of administrative communications and publications. Serves as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation. Availability is critical.  Most Meetings throughout the year are in Marysville. May supervise one or two additional volunteers. Coordination Required:  Coordinates with Board Member’s to review minutes, accomplish administrative tasks required by the Association.

Landscape and Grounds Coordinator– Responsible for preparation and maintenance of event grounds, including parking areas.  May require knowledge of, and ability to use, or supervise others in the safe use of equipment to mow/plant/clean/sweep areas to be used during the event.  May do planting of plants and trees to improve the attractiveness of the various areas of the Airport area utilized during the event. Coordination Required: Requires coordination with Airport Manager, and other appropriate coordinators before any actions taken. Please Contact Bill Moses (916) 524-5286

 

Facilities Coordinator- Responsibility for the Facilities used during the event.  Supervises, individual set up and take down personnel, directs and  plans locations of improvements and maintains in place event facilities, such as camp ground  area, camping area, electrical and water act ivies, aircraft and auto parking facilities (other than grounds), temp structure installation and removal. Major activity generally before and after event. Coordination Required: Coordinates with other Coordinators to determine needs locations, projects and resources available.. Set-up/Tear Down Coordinator- Responsible, with appropriate number of additional volunteers for set up of event structures (i.e. temp buildings, antennas, etc) , installation of event equipment ( temp tie downs, temp fences, gates, security areas, electrical circuits, water etc). May supervise multiple individual or teams of volunteers. Almost all activity required prior to event start. Also responsible for removal after event ends. Event Sound Coordinator- Responsibility for all audio activities required for the event, other than Public Address. Other sound systems may include, but not be limited to, FM radio, Aircraft Band Radio Receivers, etc. May supervise one or two additional volunteers. Maintain accountability for delivered assets and responsibility for set-up and take down of same. Coordination Required:  Coordinates with appropriate Facility and Event Coordinators for placement and need. Please Contact Bill Moses (916) 524-5286

 

PA System CoordinatorResponsibility for acquisition, installation, satisfactory operation and take down of PA System used for Airshow Events. May supervise one or two additional volunteers Coordination Required Coordinates with other appropriate coordinators to insure satisfactory placement and operation of Public Address equipment for use by Event Personnel. Temp Telephones Coordinator: Responsible to work with Appropriate local and other Telephone providers to insure cellular and local line telephones are provided for the event. Administrative accountability is maintained. Develops contacts and relationships with telephone company contacts. May supervise one or two additional volunteers. Coordination Required:  Coordinates with other appropriate coordinators to insure needed equipment is installed and/or available where needed prior to the event and removed and returned at the conclusion of activity. Volunteer Radio CoordinatorResponsible to receive hand held radio equipment, and daily accountability of portable radio assets. Daily charging is performed and equipment is properly signed in and out.  Duties primarily during the event itself.  May supervise one or two additional volunteers.  Coordination Required:  Coordinates with other appropriate coordinators to insure needed equipment is ordered, available, maintained, accounted for and turned in when the event has been completed.
