their pilots at the Golden West EAA Regional Fly-In coming June 29, 30,
and July 1 ...see them "Go To The Max."
Kevin Eldredge
Kevin is looking forward to the 2007 races for a repeat
appearance of his beautiful NXT "Relentless." The
Super Sport gold class should be interesting this year!
Duncan Sutherland Duncan has
flown a Swearingen SX 300 in the Reno Air Races for the past
3 years and has also flown in the Marion Jayne National Air
race and several years in the EAA Airventure 500 mile race.
Greg Nelson
Greg built the F-1 Rocket that he flies in the Reno Air
Races and when not racing enjoys the cross country speed and
excellent handling of the rocket for sport acrobatics.
Lee Behel
Lee currently holds three World Speed Records, two in the
F-4 Phantom and one in his Lancair Turboprop. He is
currently retired from a career as a VW, Porsche, Audi
Dealer in San Jose and flies for Angel Flight West in his
spare time.
Mike Jones
Mike won the Sport Silver Championship in 1999 and 2005 with
a fastest race average of 301 mph. Mike’s Normally
Aspirated 10-580 is sponsored by Lycoming, the 3 Blade Race
Prop is supported by Hartzell.
Dave Morss In
1998, 1999 and 2000 Dave captured the Gold at Reno in the
new Sport Class flying the factory-Lancair IV. Dave
holds thirteen world speed records, eight of which stand.
Klaus
Savier
Klaus holds two course world speed records in his o-200
powered Vari Eze and has won more than 30 race competitions.
He has been racing since 2001.
John Parker
John and the
Blue Thunder Race Team will be looking to break
another speed record at Golden West with his Thunder
Mustang.
Philip (Earl) Hibler
Earl has placed a number of times at Reno with his fastest
speed at 270 mph
Scotty Germain In Scotty's rookie year in 2005, he posted the fastest
speed ever for the Lancair 360. Back this year, the "Unleased"
Team will be looking to make some huge gains in lap speeds.
